In the Indoor Desert series, The photo series, by the talented Barcelona-based photographer, Álvaro Sánchez-Montañés, seems carefully curated Alvaro Sanchez-Montañes travels to Namibia to capture the incredible images of ghost towns created by the abandonment of diamond mines. There is no pre-planned set-up. The photographer’s spontaneous pictures are the result of his penchant for the banality of daily life.
I love the way the sand piles high in the doorways and spills out like it was slowly seeking an escape. The desert just crept in through an open door and slowly claimed the structures. You can read more about this project on his official website.
